An escalator cleaner is a professional responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of escalators in public spaces such as shopping malls, airports, train stations, and other high-traffic areas.
The operator duties include removing and disposing of debris, cleaning the escalator steps and handrails, lubricating the moving parts, and inspecting the escalator for any signs of wear or damage. They must also maintain a clean and safe work environment for themselves and others around them.
